Nourish by Amy Elizabeth: Skin Care from the Inside, Out

Ever hear the term “you are what you eat”? I wanted to create a book that is fun and educational. Most people do not consider how what they’re consuming may affect their skin health. The skin is the largest organ of the body and probably the most neglected. I want to focus on the importance of collagen, protein, hydration and balance. Simple swap outs, mindful meal planning and a good skin care regimen are just a few ways to ensure skin health. I am an esthetician and fitness instructor who loves to cook nutritious and delicious recipes that are also quick and easy. I will offer easy meals that provide nutrients to the skin, how certain foods provide health benefits to the skin and skin care tips, and hopefully, a little entertainment.
