Once You Develop Your Own Health Habit, You’ll Never Look Back
After spending way too long living a healthy lifestyle but not enjoying her life, author and health coach Elizabeth Rider has found a better way—and she’s here to share it with you. You’re looking at this book because, like Elizabeth, you want to feel healthy and, like her, you don’t want to have to go on another diet, starvation cleanse, or extreme detox to make it happen.
Research shows that when you improve habits in one area of your life, it’s easier to build better habits in other places, too. It all always comes full circle to create your highest (or lowest) level of well-being possible. Dramatic change does not have to be traumatic. Shocking, isn’t it?!
With her fresh look at healthy living, 28-Day Kick-Start Plan, 50 starter recipes, and an online community, Elizabeth will get you started, keep you motivated, and connect you to health-conscious people around the world.
From the Author
Your health is so much more than what you eat. Yes, what you eat matters. The food you put in your mouth makes up the building blocks of your cells, which form not only your bones, tissue, and organs but also your hormones, the chemical pathways your brain uses to communicate, and all the other magic that keeps your body running.
But did you know that the habits that govern how you operate in other areas of life, like how you create (or disregard) your home environment, and the routines you consciously (or unconsciously) follow each day, also dramatically affect your health?
These non-food factors are just as important as what you put in your mouth. In fact, your non-food lifestyle factors—from how you keep your home space, to how you set up your days, to whom you choose to interact with—are what create the mindset and subconscious cues that make you want to take better care of yourself. Once you develop your own Health Habit, you’ll never look back.
